From the Wikipedia summary of organizational learning:
"Organizational learning is an area of knowledge within organizational theory that studies models and theories about the way an organization learns and adapts." In practice, OL also addresses the way that individuals learn and adapt, and so borrows as much from psychology and personal development as from sociology and organizational theory.
Organizational learning interest group:
We are an informal group with a common interest in organizational learning. There is no membership, just periodic events to meet and share ideas. Some of us are also members of the Society for Organizational Learning, but that is not a requirement. The events are open to all who are interested in organizational learning or related topics.
Organizer's message:
My name is Mathew Davies. I am a professional currently living in Fairfield county (CT), and a member of the Society for Organizational Learning (SoL) - an excellent source of dialogue and community. I recently attended the SoL conference on Business Innovation for Sustainability, where I met a number of other people from the New York area interested in organizational learning, sustainability, and many other topics related to improving organizations, institutions and communities. In order to better connect with those people and others like them, I created this website. You can send email to me via the contact page.
